About Me About Me I am a clinical social worker, now an end of life doula, after decades in private practice, never too far from my roots which grew deep when I started as a substance abuse counselor in Wake County’s Alcoholism Treatment Center in 1986. Whew! It’s been amazing so far. My passion throughout is in helping people bring meaning and intention to their lives, helping people live as well as they can, in ways that reflect their values and beliefs, in ways that provide all that the world has to offer. That is never more important than when we face death, our own or that of a loved one. My education, training and experience have brought me to answer the call to work as an end of life doula. If you think I could be of service, please get in touch.
